Prairie Crossing Charter School is honored with 2012 National Green Ribbon Award! 
The U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools (ED-GRS) recognition award honors schools that are exemplary in reducing environmental impact and costs; improving the health and wellness of students and staff; and providing effective environmental and sustainability education, which incorporates STEM, civic skills and green career pathways. 

 

 

Named one of the top 53 charter schools in the
United States by The Center for Education Reform

Named as one of Chicagoland's 11 most valuable resources by BP for going beyond in math and science education and environmental leadership.

Featured in an article in "Chicago" magazine in April of 2009 as one of the best charter schools in the area.
