PCCS CLASSROOM GARDENS SPONSOR

Outside of every Prairie Crossing Charter School classroom lies a classroom garden. These gardens provide incredible, hands-on learning opportunities for our students to experience caring for the earth and taking responsibility for something greater than themselves. The gardens are each unique and memorable, with themes including a pizza garden, a Native American medicinal garden, an herb tea garden, a peace garden, and more! You can sponsor individual gardens or as many as you wish, making an impact that will reach many children and families. Your sponsorship will provide for the supplies and maintenance needed to sustain these vital growing spaces into the future!

PCCS FARM TO TABLE SPONSOR

The award-winning Farm to Table Lunch program at PCCS is an extension of our focus on environmental education and an innovative approach to teaching students about healthy food and enhancing the school’s sense of community. Every month, PCCS students visit the Learning Farm, where they help raise a specific crop for their grade, from wheat to beans, typically from planting to harvest. They then have the opportunity to enjoy tasting these crops in a special monthly Farm to Table lunch. Your business can sponsor this incredible opportunity for students to participate hands-on in learning about food from farm to table!

PCCS GREENHOUSE SPONSOR

Prairie Crossing Charter School is striving to add a greenhouse to our campus! This will allow us to extend our growing season, growing and harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables, in addition to other native plants, throughout the entire year. Gardening helps to enhance relaxation and self-esteem, relieve stress, and connect children to the natural world. Your business can make this happen for PCCS students today!
