Jacqueline Heier enters the 2011-2012 PCCS school year as a 6th grade teacher! She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and middle school endorsements in Language Arts and Social Studies. Since then she has continued her education at North Central College in Naperville. She has also worked for Kaplan Tutoring and taught students in South Africa while studying at Stellenbosch University.
Jacqueline has always loved working with middle school students and educating outdoors. After graduation she looked for a school aligned with her educational and environmental values. Jacqueline found her home at PCCS last year while working as the 7th grade TA. She instantly fell in love with the school’s constructivist approach and environmental ideals.
When not teaching, she loves being active outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling. She is always trying new experiences and loves learning new things!
Now Jacqueline is looking forward to all the new and thrilling experiences she gets to share with her family at PCCS.
